Quoting the Doors for that title.
The universe has been pushing me in one direction now for the last few years, to only hit me with a the largest brick wall ever.
I found out some information today that has shattered a possible path in my life. I have to ask, why would the Gods/Goddesses lead me down this path in this southward direction to suddenly lock the door in my face?
What was the point of leading me on only to say "nope sorry not for you" ? I am left with nothing but having to turn back northward and start over.
No I am not going to explain what the situation was. Just putting out the question, why would the universe direct you one way when that direction was just not for you to begin with?

maybe they want you to go for it anyway. To abandon your conflict to move past fear and keep on going in the direction you are headed in. They wouldn't give you something you couldn't handle.
Not too sure. I know I said this was the year of facing my fears, but this almost feels like like the end scene in the movie Carrie where she thinks she's made it and suddenly bucket of blood on the white dress. That's how I feel right now so....
