Do you have a kitchen alter?

I'm asking because I am needing to create one and am totally unsure of ideas.

I asked the advice of my friend the High Priestess, but her advice was "what speaks to you".
Well, that's the issue, what speaks to me is a mass of confusion. My gut reaction is to go with a goddess who has nothing to do with being domestic or food.

That is another issue, I do not usually connect with goddesses; I seem to connect with gods.

Kitchen Deities, icons, alters. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I live in studio apartment so I can see my altar from every part of my house, minus the bathroom.

But I'm very eclectic when it comes to these things, so in my former house (5 bedrooms) my altar was everywhere. I kept tools in the kitchen and i had a small altar, for offerings, on the kitchen windowsill. I didn't have any deities. I still done, I just kept a candle (the color will change) and an offering dish.

I think you should do what your heart tells you. What deity crosses your mind when you cook?

Umm. er... umm.. I don't really think of any. When I asked my friend the High Priestess and she gave me her response, it triggered Kali in my mind. But that doesn't really connect with cooking.
And you see the problem I'm having. When I cook I don't think goddesses; I think celebrity chefs.
