In the book the Dark Half by Stephen King, when the hero is about to have an attack, he sees sparrows.
In Twin Peaks, just before the bad guy appears there is an owl.
Both are mystical birds that are connected to the underworld. I should have heeded their warnings.
Seems I have made the gods of war angry. Ares, I believe is laughing and taunting me. Why do I say that? Because all that I have been dealing with for the last month has been fights, anger, greed and pointless destruction.
All signs of war. Now they say things come in three. Which is very true. And in the course of a month, I have had three people start three situations with me. I hope the gods have had their fun with me and that my run of bad luck is over.
Two ended fairly quiet, with little to no mass destruction, but the third one got way over the top.
And why ?
Best we can figure the first two were power shakers. The third was an empty pit of hate. For me, for my friends, for themself.
Has this all been a test laid upon me by the gods?
Sure why not.
Did I pass?
I'm still standing. So I suppose.

sometimes something is put infront of us to help us and hopefully keep us from passing on it so to speak
I do hope this is all going to lead to a more secure footing.
I don't know how much more drama I can take.
usually I just try to remember to breathe in and out and deal with only as much as I can and sometimes getting a friend to do dirty work can help! (Psss that's what he's there for ) :)
